Blue Port Hamburg
Every two years– as part of the Hamburg Cruise Days – for four kilometers along the harbour and the most beautiful landmarks, Hamburg will be painted in a blue, almost magical light during the night. This year, it will be taking place from August 19th to 21st, and will portray the most fascinating art project!
During Cruise Days, numerous ships dock at the port of Hamburg. The participating shipping companies and cruise operators will present their ships and travel concepts. The Cruise Days are accompanied by an extensive entertainment program including highlights, such as the Great Ship Parade in the illuminated port, which is attended by many spectators on the Elbe. During the last Hamburg Cruise Days, which took place in 2019, for example, more than half a million people from all over the world visited the event.
