Berlin Freedom Dinner

Last August, a celebration of diversity and joie de vivre as colorful as Berlin was held on the disused runway of the Tegel Airport. 2,000 Berliners and their guests were invited to a free dinner. The tables were specially arranged to form a bird's eye view of the giant lettering: BERLIN LOVES YOU ♥

At the same time, the event was the last opportunity to enter the tarmac as such. A research and industrial park for urban technologies, a new residential area and huge green spaces are being built on the former airport site. And it will most certainly remain a popular location for extraordinary events.
