Protecting Nature and the Environment

We understand how we should contribute to environmental protection, and we make this happen.

Among other things, we feel responsible for compliance with environmentally friendly standards when running events. This includes only booking rooms in convention centres and hotels that meet specific regional environmental standards in the long term. The food and drink provided should mainly include regional products to avoid long transport routes.

CPO HANSER SERVICE follows the ‘green meetings’ guidelines issued by the German Convention Bureau.

We are continuously expanding our knowledge and adjusting our behaviour as an environmentally aware company, especially in the following areas:

• Energy efficiency
• Ecologically aware behaviour and consumer habits
• Waste reduction

We see it as our duty to ensure that our suppliers not only comply with European waste disposal laws, but also pursue other initiatives to prevent waste and pollution.

 

CPO undertakes to adhere to the rightandfair code and to develop the organisation further within this framework.
